The New Rec Center (coming 2027)

The plan for the Recreation Centre includes:

  • A Fieldhouse

    • Large multi-use space with a rubberized playing surface for floor, court and ball sports lines

  • Community Hall

    • A reception/function room with a 200 person capacity and attached kitchen

  • The Library is moving there

  • A few multipurpose rooms

  • Studios for exercise

  • Seniors activity space

    • Sinks, fridges, storage, room for exercises, etc

  • Indoor track

  • Offices and boardrooms

And this is planned to break ground in 2027. Over 65,000 square feet, Anticipated $37 million dollars.
