Nick for Langdon Councillor

Why I’m doing this

My story here began in 2020 when I chose to make Langdon my home. That commitment deepened last year with the birth of my daughter. Like all of you, I want Langdon to be a community she is proud to call home forever—a place of opportunity, connection, and thoughtful growth.

To prepare for this role, I didn't wait. In 2021, I met with Councillor Al Schule to ask how I could best get involved. I was honoured to be appointed to three key boards: the Assessment Review Board (ARB), the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB), and the Marigold Library Board.

This experience has been invaluable. Serving on the SDAB and ARB gave me a direct window into the concerns and aspirations of residents across Rocky View. On the Marigold Library Board, I collaborated with representatives from across the region to make strategic, future-proof decisions for our communities—including the incredible experience of being part of the team that opened our very own Langdon Library.

I've learned that what impacts us isn't just what we see on the surface, but also the inner workings at the county and provincial levels. My professional background, combined with my hands-on board experience, has given me a diverse and practical perspective on how to navigate these complexities for Langdon's benefit.

I am running to be your strong, dedicated voice on council. Let's work together to strengthen Langdon's position within the county and preserve everything we love about our beautiful hamlet.

I'm eager to hear what matters most to you. Please reach out, say hello, and share your vision for our community's future!
