Should Langdon Incorporate?

No. I haven’t seen any studies or reports analyzing the incorporation of Langdon and I’m not prepared to fund one as a resident of Langdon.

Previous councils have been burdened by controversy and infighting that have, in my opinion, been the result of wishy-washy “I’ll just do what the people want” platforms. Or Councillors that have given into the pressure of special interest groups. That is absolutely not what I am going to do. 

The biggest concern I heard at the door was red tape. How is adding another layer of government going to improve that? We have the population of an HOA and we all enjoy jokes about garage doors being open too long or garbage cans being visible.

I am not prepared to give up any of the freedoms I have learned to love while living in Langdon, and my focus is on streamlining the county to make my life, and your lives better.
