Leadership and Working with Fellow Councillors and Administration

A council of seven independent voices could lead to gridlock. But I believe it's an opportunity for better governance. My approach is built on three things:

  • First, I come with no pre-set alliances or old grudges. My advantage is a fresh perspective and a focus solely on what's best for Division 7 - Langdon, and then Rocky View.

  • Second, my professional background is in advocacy—not as a mercenary, but as a mediator. I've learned that the goal isn't to 'win' a debate but to find the common ground that creates a 'rising tide' for the entire community.

  • And finally, it starts with listening. I built my platform by listening at the doors, and I will represent Langdon the same way. I expect every councillor to bring strong, well-researched opinions and details to the table. The key is that we all must keep open minds. You don't always have to change your mind, but you must always be willing to add value to the conversation as it evolves. That's how we build consensus and avoid the gridlock of the past.

We need true leadership in Council.
